more seniors

i've had a couple of senior sessions in the past few weeks & they have been so much fun! the majority of my business is with families & smaller children-which i love. but i also really dig senior photos. every session is so unique, whether it's a little one or a teen. but with teenagers it becomes more like hanging out. i'm pretty laid back in general, but the more relaxed i am, the more relaxed they become & then the fun really starts :-)

more maternity

i had such a great time working with this family-they were so sweet! and there is something really special about maternity photos, i have always had a fondness for shooting them. when i worked on editing this session, the love they all shared was just so obvious. nothing makes me happier than being able to convey that through the images :-)

sunny senior photos

ok, i'm going to try to get back to blogging about each session i shoot. when i have a busy week, it's harder to do...but amelia, the senior i worked with this week was so awesome, i had to share some of her photos! not only is she cute as can be, she was so much fun. lots of laughing going on. which i'm all about. her mom came to the first half off her session & her boyfriend came with her to the second half & they were great accomplices :-)

i'm so happy it's finally spring

i feel like all winter long i was just waiting for the spring to get here. for the longer days and the warmer light. now that it's here, i am thankful i am staying busy. but it makes blogging feel like a chore and i hate that! when i am on the computer editing my lil heart out on a constant basis, the last thing i seem to want to do is write. i go through phases where i really enjoy writing and at other times i dread it. i also write a lot of posts that never get published. shocking, i know!
so anywho, i'm going to quit writing now & instead post a little taste of some of my recent spring shoots.

i adore this shot i snapped at the end of a senior session of mom & daughter.

keith patrick was so dapper i could hardly stand it!
